2015

Second premises in Enzlar

By continually expanding our scope of services we reached our site capacity after more than 10 years. In Enzlar, just 5 km away, a new, large and very modern premises was built in which the vehicle construction and a large, well-stocked warehouse are located. The rooms in Markt Bibart are now fully dedicated to our mechanical engineering department and focus on engine, transmission and axle technology as well as vehicle maintenance.

2014

Launch of our English website to support our growing international presence.

Distribution of our English newsletter for people who registered via our website.

Our new online shop in German language is available with a large assortment of specialised products with a great price - value ratio. Easily shop from home and get the goods delivered.

2013

The evolution of our website www.toms-fahrzeugtechnik.eu is online. With a new structure, many additional products and information as well as extensive advisory information are available to our customers now.

Distribution of our German newsletter to people who registered via our website.

We now offer the removable Gazell cabin for PickUps, ideal for all customers who like to use the PickUp for travel as well as a regular vehicle.

2012

Further internationalisation through cooperation with qualified partners, for example in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, England, Spain, Poland, France and Switzerland: Thereby we not only offer qualified advice in local language but also a local contact. Contact details for your local specialist are available on request.

We now offer our own; specially built accommodation to our customers. Located right next to the premises in Markt Bibart where we have rooms with shower, toilet and kitchenette available.

2011

We celebrate our 10th anniversary.

Parts of our building were renovated and enlarged. Meanwhile we have 12 employees and we guarantee high quality and professional work executed by our master mechanic operation. With a total of 3 masters in our organisation, in which we successfully educate automotive mechatronics year after year, we offer the highest quality standards.

In addition to the Toyota LandCruiser we now also offer the Iveco Daily 4 × 4 as an expedition vehicle.

2009

We are now official wholesaler for Terrain Tamer Australia - Australia's largest 4 × 4 parts supplier in OEM quality.

2008

Design, planning and implementation of rear camping conversions for world travellers based on various Toyota LandCruiser models as expedition vehicle.

In cooperation with Custom Campers, whose owner Ralf Hilwerling, metal construction and forging master with comprehensive experiences in the automotive body and vehicle construction, guarantees high quality; special support conversions from qualified professionals.

2005

We build for our customers and together with our customers individually planned and handmade travel off-road vehicles as unique items: "Handmade in Germany"

2004

Expansion of the portfolio including pop up sleeping roofs and the upgrade to full-fledged mobile homes and tour vehicle.

2003

Expansion of the services offering guided expedition and adventure travel. These have since been continuously improved, adapted to changing local conditions and extended to new interesting destinations.

2002

The company moved into its own business premises in Markt Bibart, specifically tailored to suit our needs, initially specialised in the purchase and sale of Toyota LandCruisers as well as their repair, modification and the restoration of older series.

2001

After many years of professional experience as an automotive mechanics technician and with Toyota LandCruisers in particular, Tom has decided in 2001 to establish "Tom's Fahrzeugtechnik" and to combine his expertise with his passion for the LandCruiser.
